What Would I Wear: Kate Spade Fall/ Winter 2015-2016
The Haul: Halogen
Recently, I purchased these two items from Halogen, Nordstrom’s private label. The label has a nice selection of petite-sized women’s clothing and is good place to shop at for those women who do not wish to rummage through the children’s department in order to find suitable clothes for their small silhouettes.

Sisters on the Runway’s Upcoming Fashion Show
Sisters on the Runway, a non-profit organization run by the students, holds annual fashion shows to raise money to help the women and teens who are facing or who have faced domestic violence. The proceeds from these fashion shows goes to domestic abuse shelters such as Safe Horizon. This October 11, Sisters on the Runway is once again putting together another fashion show, which will be held at 560 Seventh Ave. between 40th St. and 7th Ave. Be sure to arrive early since the doors will be opening at 6 pm, and the show will begin at 7 pm.
So, if you are fashion lover or a fashion student, then what is a better way to show your passion in fashion than to come and attend a fashion show that also helps those in need! And, as an extra bonus, this year the Sisters on the Runway will be collaborating with AXM Fridays to host an after party that will feature various artists and musicians.

Charles Bridge: A Scenic Spot
Prague is the capital of Czech Republic. The two sides are bounded together by the Charles Bridge, which runs over the Vltava River, the longest river in Czech Republic. Ancient statues (like the ones below)
and street artists such as caricaturists lined the bridge. The bridge also provides travelers with a picturesque view of the city.
McDonalds in Prague
Compared to other fast food restaurants in Prague, McDonalds is more populated. Free Wi-Fi is available. Besides the usual McNuggets, there is a nice selection of savory desserts at the adjacent McCafe.
Initially, one might think these cakes cannot be of excellent quality since they are not made by a classy, well-furnished bakery. However, I assure you these are soft and well made. On a side note, be wary if you are planning to use the restrooms here. It will cost you 5 Krones.
